Ok, like many of my fellow music bloggers out there, Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. Parties, candy, pranks, and costumes... Hell, I'd do it all year if I could. Scar Stuff and some of his fellow bloggers have cornered the market on fun and creepy Halloween music, so I've decided to swank it up a bit a compile some tunes for the ultimate mad monster cocktail party. The kind for us adults to mingle with some pumpkin martinis after the kids are asleep. These tracks were culled from the brilliant vaults of Space Age Pop, Check The Cool Wax, Oddio Overplay, and These Records Are Bent (so please be sure to visit each one of them, as they set the standard when it comes to music blogs). I'll have a few more haunting posts as the month goes by. Bookmark this one, as I may update it as I come across more tunes... Happy Haunting!!!Ride of the Valkyrie (Stan Kenton & His Orchestra)
Alfred Hitchcock Presents (Ralph Marterie & His Marlboro Men)
Night on Bald Mountain (Marty Manning & His Orchestra)
Theme from The Munsters (Billy Strange)
Satan In High Heels (Mundell Lowe)
That Old Black Magic (Esquivel)
The Cannibal Song (Jiminy Cricket & Rica Moore)
The Raven (Buddy Morrow & His Orchestra)
The Rockin' Ghost (The Modernaires)
Satan Takes A Holiday (Bob Rosengarden & Phil Kraus)
Randall & Hopkirk "Deceased" (Edwin Astley)
The Tomorrow People (Dudley Simpson)
Mostly Ghostly (The Creatures)
Traitor in the Lab (Barry Gray)
The Crank (Creed Taylor Orchestra)
Crash Landing & Rescue (Barry Gray)

I love this mix! :D
Thanks for all the hard work...
mostly ghostly heheh
The Mundell Lowe track is great!
Is Jiminy Cricket singing about dying cannibals too ghoulish for small children? haha.
have you tried making those pumpkin martinis? I see they got kinda mixed reviews...
Some of the links are dead :(
How about a repost or a single album link.
Thanks
Some of the songs from "Check The Cool Wax" will be down until after the holiday due to bandwidth issues. Those are the deadlinks, but they should be up after Christmas if you want to revisit...
Thank you for the music, I'll remember to came back after Christmas to get the missing pieces.
