Ok, here is one brilliant mash-up guaranteed to get your weekend hoppin'. new single, Nelly Furtado's Maneater, seamlessly laid over The Human League's Sound of the Crowd. This has got to be one of THE best mash-up's I've ever heard, as it sounds like Nelly and The Human League recorded this in the studio together. This needs to be the only version of this track pulled for air and club play. This was produced by Bobby Martini (be sure to check out his other mixes). Simply brilliant. In fact, Bobby Martini has set the industry standard for mash-ups as far as I'm concerned. He does not sound like some wanna-be laptop cut-and-paste amateur, but a veteran and polished studio genius. seriously, check out his other mixes if you doubt me. Certainly one to watch.Maneater of the Crowd (Nelly Furtado vs The Human League)

Hiya Paul!
i havent downloaded anything from your blog since before xmas! i'll have to try to catch up soon!
are mash-ups usually bad? i hadnt noticed i guess. Maybe i've only heard the good ones, or maybe i'm just not so picky! ha ha
I have "Rapture" vs. "Riders On The Storm" on my playlist for the gym right now. hehe. a friend of mine sent me that one.
I usually only like mash-ups if I know the songs.. then they can be amusing.
when it's some-song-i've-never-heard by nelly furtado vs. some-other-song-i've-never-heard by the human league, then it is much less entertaining. ;)
